Botox

Botox for lines and wrinkles, eye lift, jowl lift & lips

Botox is one of the best known and popular non-surgical treatments for treating lines and wrinkles caused by smiling, laughing and frowning. Clients often complain of unsightly lines and wrinkles on the face, or are told that they look worried or miserable because of them. In particular these are the frown lines between the eyebrows, horizontal forehead creases and the smile lines at the outer corners of the eyes – the crow’s feet. Botox injections give rapid and dramatic results that will take years off you. The skin is like a piece of paper; if it creased too many times the creases become permanent so it is important to start treatments before the wrinkles become permanent.

Dr Ros Debenham carries out all our Botox injections and in your free initial consultation with her you can both discuss which areas you want targeted & the best way to approach them. She will explain the procedure in detail. Please call (01392 430115) or e-mail us today to book a free initial consultation or to ask Dr Ros to call you.

Botox is typically used for:

Crow’s feet – smooths the lines
Frown lines & forehead wrinkles – smooths the lines and removes the furrows
Eyelift – lifts the centre of the eyebrow giving an upper eyelift
Sagging jowls – lifts to help reduce jowling and neck looseness
Lips – smooths fine lines and lift the corner of the mouth to give a ‘pout’ and appear fuller

Botox is also used to treat Hyperhydrosis (Excessive Sweating)

Eye Lift and Jowl Lift

Whilst it is best known for the treatment of wrinkles, Botox is also used to give a wonderfully quick and easy ‘lift’ effect – both eyelifts and jowl-lifts. There is no need to go under the knife to get an eye lift or jowl lift! It pulls up the eyebrow giving a pleasing shape whilst at the same time, lifting the upper eye lid. It has the same effect on the jaw line – lifting the jaw in the jowls area.

Botox treatment & the results

The rationale of treatment is to temporarily weaken the muscles in these areas that pull on the skin. The effects last from 3-6 months. The time between injections becomes longer as the muscle is made weaker with non-useage.

The treatment is a prescription only medicine (PoM) that must be prescribed by a doctor and requires specialist cosmetic training to administer. The injections are carried out using the finest of needles. The treatment is safe and results are visible within three to seven days. The effects last a few months, on average around 4 months after which the treatment can be topped up for the wonderful benefits to continue. If you have your first top-ups within 4 months, the time between treatments starts to increase, giving longer lasting results of up to 6-10 months.

We offer a follow-up appointment with Dr Ros to assess results and make any adjustments necessary – there is no extra charge for this – we want you to be entirely happy with the results.

Before & After Photos:

I had botox injections to smooth my frown lines, to lift my eyes a little and to lift my lips at the corners. I also had some dermal filler in the lines between my nose and mouth (nasal labia).

Our Botox prices whilst they are competitive they will never be the cheapest this is because we believe in having quality injectors at all times to ensure you get the result you want from your treatment.

Botox may be used in conjunction with other non-surgical treatments such as skin peels, Dermaroller and dermal fillers
