Botox is one of the best known non-surgical, wrinkle injection treatments available.

Botox has been used for over 15 years to reduce wrinkles and is the No 1 non-cosmetic procedure in the UK amongst men and women. The signs of ageing are erased by relaxing the dynamic facial muscles that are responsible for facial wrinkles, smoothing out the skin to giving a softer and more youthful appearance. It is administered effectively and safely by using a very fine needle and giving some facial injections.

It is also being used increasingly to prevent wrinkles occurring in the younger age groups. Our skin is like paper, if it continuously being folded it will retain the creases, if we keep the paper smooth, creases do not appear.

Whilst it is best known for the treatment of wrinkles, it is also used to give a wonderfully quick and easy ‘lift’ effect – both eyelifts and jowl-lifts. There is no need to go under the knife to get an eye lift or jowl lift! It pulls up the eyebrow giving a pleasing shape whilst at the same time, lifting the upper eye lid. It has the same effect on the jaw line – lifting the jaw in the jowls area.

We can offer a combination of Botox and dermal fillers to achieve some wonderful results from small areas of concern to a complete face lift.

Botox is commonly used for wrinkle removal and eye lifts and jowl lifts:

Crow’s feet – smoothes the lines

Frown lines & forehead wrinkles – smoothes the lines and removes the furrows

Eyelift – lifts the centre of the eyebrow giving an upper eyelift

Sagging jowls – lifts to help reduce jowling and neck looseness

Lips – smoothes fine lines and lift the corner of the mouth to give a ‘pout’ and appear fuller


A smoothing effect is seen almost immediately and it continues to improve over the next few days. The effects last a few months, on average around 4 months after which the treatment can be topped up for the wonderful benefits to continue. If you have your first top-ups within 4 months, the time between treatments starts to increase, giving longer lasting results of up to 6-10 months.

Botox can be used to give a Botox eye lift, where the outer third of the eyebrow can be raised. This elegantly corrects the heavy eyed tired look and creates the perfect arch, taking years off your appearance.

The BOTOX® Cosmetic injections smooth out lines and wrinkles caused by muscle contractions, and the injectable fillers fill in any depressions and folds. Typically, a full treatment includes filling in under the eyes (to eliminate dark circles) and better defining the lips (this decreases the vertical “smoker’s lines” of the upper and lower lip), filling in the nasolabial folds (smile lines) and marionette lines at the sides of the mouth. We can also subtly enhance the cheekbones, giving a noticeable lift to the skin of the face.  Fillers can also be used to fill in the space between the “jowl” and the chin, re-establishing a smooth jawline and camouflaging the jowl. Botox can also be used to give a lift to the jowls too.
