Modern fillers are synthetic preparations of hyaluronic acid which is naturally present in the skin. It preserves moisturising levels in the skin and boosts tone. They are slowly absorbed, allowing the treatments for last for up to one year.  Our doctor uses Juvederm Ultra and Voluma (which can last up to 18 months).  It contains an anaesthetic which makes it far more comfortable than other fillers.
