Marlene trained as a Registered Nurse and subsequently practiced for many years specialising in Intensive Care Nursing working both in the UK and the USA.
On resuming her nursing career following family commitments she trained as an allergist and subsequently set up The Devon Allergy Clinic. In February 2009 she will complete a Diploma in Allergy at the University of Greenwich where her fellow students are all healthcare professionals.
Patients come to Marlene usually dissatisfied with the diagnosis and treatment received with the NHS for their perceived condition. At the core of Marlene’s approach is the synchronization of the patient’s own capacity for regeneration coupled with her knowledge of nutrition digestion and immunology.
Such common conditions as IBS are areas where she has had particular success in helping patients. Advice on diet and if appropriate recommendations for the taking of supplements is also given.
Marlene lives in Torquay with her partner and 18 year old daughter who is in her first term at university.
